We're still going strong with our weekly 3-D, mixed media classes. This past week the artists were super inspired by the work of a few artists- Jean Dubuffet, Betye Saar, and the lovely Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson. While Dubuffet is more well known, Saar and Robinson have achieved worldwide recognition.

Here are some photos from our past two 3D classes. The artists have used paint, clay, cardboard, handmade paper from India and China and other clever materials they've discovered to create their unique works of art.
"We can all talk, we can all write and if blocks are removed, we can all draw and paint and make things.
Drawing, painting, and making things are natural human activities, but in many they remain in the seed state, as potentials or wishes. Creativity belongs to the artist in each of us."
